How We Work
Every engagement, whether private coaching or an organization-wide, competency-development program, includes the following 5-step process:
STEP 1: Assessment (Pre-Program Measurement)
We uncover with you the gaps between where you are and where you want to be. Often the root causes of these performance gaps are unseen or have yet to be articulated accurately. Using state-of-the art diagnostic tools, we can provide to you with an accurate reflection of your leadership, your teams’ performance, and the effectiveness of your processes. The organization will be set free from inaccurate assessments, doubt, and indecision, thereby reducing individual and organizational stress. Enhanced clarity will open new possibilities and ignite your enthusiasm for the future.
STEP 2: Preparation for Success
Next we eliminate the possibility of failure by answering these questions:
- How will we know that we have achieved the outcome? What objective measures will we use?
- What could slow down and block progress? How can we address those factors up front?
We will measure how well outcomes have been articulated against three key sustainability criteria. This step will provide you with a map and GPS system that will direct you until your outcome is attained.
STEP 3: Design Your Strategy
To build confidence and momentum, we will co-design powerful processes to reach your outcome in the shortest time possible. We will focus on the 20% of activities that will produce 80% of results, leaving you feeling excited about your future and renewing your power and vitality.
STEP 4: Implementation and Support Plan
Based on our mutual agreement, we will provide you with an easy-to-follow, step-by-step action plan with specific deliverables. As leader, your role is to sponsor the change effectively within your organization. As facilitators and subject matter experts, we move the implementation plan forward.
STEP 5: Completion (Post-Program Measurement and Acknowledgment)
As implementation proceeds, we measure our results continuously using observable and measurable standards, constantly adjusting to acknowledge what is working and what is not. At the end of the implementation steps, we circle back to the questions that we began with – and the diagnostics that we employed – to confirm the changes that have been made. Finally, every change, to be sustainable, must be consciously acknowledged; this crucial step lays the groundwork for successful changes in the future.
